Going home was just as long as going to Amsterdam. The trip took forever and I was exhausted. We took a flight back home. The trip overall was a blast though. We all had so much fun and we took so many pictures.
Shopping!!!
Of course we had to go shopping! We went to De Kalvertoren which is one of the many malls they had. It was huge and it was full of so many stores. I walked out nearly broke…
Activity 3: MokumBoot
We decided to go boating! It was so fun. We rented a boat and we played music in the boat. Andrea almost fell over the boat, but it was still a fun activity.
Activity 2: Artis
We also went to Artis, it is a zoo with exotic animals. We saw monkeys, giraffes, zebras, elephants and a lot more. It was so cool. The only thing that was annoying were the kids that kept screaming and crying about the animals.
Activity 1: Anne Frank House
The very first adventure was Anne Frank’s House. We went in and saw so many pictures of her. They also had her journal, but you could not touch it of course. I took so many pictures. As you can see the line was down the street. It was so packed.
Restaurant 3: Winkel 43
The Winkel 43 was the best restaurant out of all. They served yummy pastries and I absolutely love pastries! I ordered the apple pie because I have never had homemade apple pie. It was great, the whip cream topping made it even better.
Restaurant 2: Cafe De Klos
Our second restaurant was Cafe De Klos. I got the steak and it was delicious! The inside was so cozy. The staff treated us like family or something.
Restaurant 1: The Pantry
OK our first restaurant we tried out here was The Pantry. I honestly had no idea what none of the food was but I realized that one thing was popular. I decided to order three mash potatoes with sausage. It was amazing! It totally looks gross but it was great.
Accommodations
So I decided to book two rooms at Luxury Suite Amsterdam. Sydney is rooming with Andrea and Kelsey is rooming with me. I just knew for a fact that if Kelsey and Andrea roomed together that it would be a fight. Those two are complete opposites. Anyways, the rooms were about $577.00 a night and we will be staying for 6 days, 7 nights.
Flight Experience
The flight took FOREVER. Andrea was drinking up all of the free drinks. Kelsey was hungry every five minutes for anything to eat. Sydney was freaking out because she’s terrified of flights. It was one heck of a flight. There was a little kid sitting behind me and he decided to kick my seat the entire way to our next flight. We had to aboard three different planes during this journey. It took like 17 hours to make it but we finally did and man am I glad to be out of the sky.
